For the fifth consecutive year the Hellenic Flame/ La Flamme Hellénique - the annual summer festival organized by the Hellenic Community of Montreal - will be held at Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 10-12 2007. Fueled by a rich cultural heritage, a creative spirit and a natural “joie de vivre”, the “Hellenic Flame” blends culture, commerce and entertainment.
In 2006, our community celebrated its 100th anniversary - a milestone reflecting the extensive history of Greeks in Montreal and their contribution to the development of our city.
Since the mid 1800's, Greeks have settled in Quebec and have embraced their new home with great passion and determination to create a better life for themselves, their families and for future generations.
We are always looking for capable, enthusiastic, and committed people who wish to contribute their vision, knowledge, and energy to the most historic Greek community in Canada.
As never before, the Hellenic Community of Montreal is making it easy for members to be a part of the entire fabric of Greek life in Montreal, Laval and the South Shore.
